It worked!

Going away for the weekend cleared my mind and now that I'm home I have a great idea for a story! Too bad that I didn't get any ideas for the beginning of Fallen Angel :/

Still no progress on Fallen Angel. I try to start and get about half a page down and throw it away. I hate it.... My mom told me about a contest for young adult books that start in September so hopefully I can get Ending Her Dream done in time. Fingers crossed!!

Ending Her Dream

I think I'm FINALLY done with this novel. Ending her dream is a romantic drama that may appeal to young adult readers. This is a little part of it.

When she got to the party she noticed that Lisa was standing outside.  She seemed to be looking for something.  Or someone.  When Tori pulled up on the side of the road Lisa came running to her car before she could turn it off.  Lisa was out of breath by the time she reached Tori.  When she opened the door Lisa blocked her from getting out.
"Let's just leave ok?  We can find something else to do.  The party sucks anyways."  Lisa's eyes were pleading and she looked frantic but Tori paid no notice.  She pushed Lisa's arms out of the way and walked past her.
"Are you kidding?  I bought a new outfit and have been excited all day for this!"  Tori couldn't stop smiling.  When Tori walked through the door, Lisa hung her head knowing what will happen next.  She leaned on Tori's car waiting for the moment she would come out.
When Tori walked in she was bombarded by people that she had met previously.  They all talked for a few minutes until Tori excused herself to go look for Justin.  She looked around the living and dining rooms but didn't see him.  She went into the kitchen it get herself something to drink.  The table was on the same side as the door so all she had to do was turn to the left.  When she got her drink she turned to look around some more, thinking that it was odd that she didn’t seen him yet.  But when she started to go back to the door she stopped dead in her tracks and stared.
Her drink fell out of her hands and shattered on the tile floor.  Everyone looked at her but all she could do was stare at Justin.  With Kendra.  She was sitting on his lap and kissing his neck while he was rubbing her back.  Now that everybody had their attention on Tori, they both had stopped.  Tori took one look at Kendra and saw the smug smile she had.  Justin looked like a deer caught in headlights.  Kendra of course looked uncaring as she out got of Justin's lap and walked over to the drink table. The closer she got to Tori the heavier her breath came. She clenched her fists at her side and took a deep breath before Kendra walked by.
"You should settle down Tori, it's not like you guys are going to stay together or anything."  With a self-satisfied smile she made a sound of pleasure and walked away like nothing had happened.  That was a huge understatement.  Something had happened. And that something had just ripped out Tori's heart and threw it in the blender.
She covered her mouth with her hand and backed up a couple steps, only to run into the drink table.  She put her hand on it to stable it and herself before running out of the house making a fool out of herself by crying in front of everybody.  When she got outside Lisa was already there to grab her into a massive hug.  Lisa smoothed her hair and patted her back.
"Shhh, it's gonna be ok baby, I promise.  He's a jerk, no more than a jerk, there is no word to describe him. You can do much better than him.  Shhh Tori, I'm here, I'm here...."  But nothing could calm Tori's tears.  The one guy she had opened up to in a long time, the guy that she thought she could love had just turned his back on her. Stabbed her in the back. It seemed like, to her, he didn't care about her.  Never had, never will.
Tori pushed past Lisa and ran to her car.  She started it and sped out from the side of the road and down the street to her home.  He eyes stung because of the black mascara and eye liner.  When she got home she slammed the door, locked it and unplugged the phone.  She ran upstairs, into the bathroom, shut it and locked it.  She stood in the shower forever.  She couldn't tell if she was crying more but it didn't matter.

Duuuuude -_-

So I haven't been able to write because I've been busy getting back 800 songs that I lost when my iPod freaked out on me...!!  Hopefully it won't take that much longer. I neeeeed to wriiiiite!
